King Edward Mine, Troon, Camborne King Edward Mine Museum has won several awards because of its authenticity. One of our experts will be your guide and show you how the tin was processed using the original historic equipment. The mill is in still in working order so it is easy to imagine working here in Edwardian times.The museum and the mill are under cover making this a great attraction for a wet day.

Wheal Martyn, Carthew, St Austell Wheal Martyn is based amongst the preserved remains of a Victorian clay works within 26 acres of woodland and nature trails with plenty of space for the children to let of steam this Easter. From interactive displays and hands on exhibits to a fantastic children s challenge trail there is something for all ages. There is also the opportunity to see monstrous machinery at work with a spectacular view of a modern working clay pit and if you are lucky you may even get to see them blasting in the pit!! There is also a café, lots of free parking and dogs are welcome throughout the site.
